On 20 April 2026, Gow Victor & Co, Advocates & Solicitors and Macao Legal Exchange and Promotion Association (on behalf of the Industry and Commerce Association of Macau and Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine and Big Health Overseas Service Center), formalised a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”), marking an important milestone in advancing cross-border collaboration between Malaysia and Macao.
The MOU establishes a strategic framework for cooperation in areas including legal and regulatory advisory, market expansion support, business connectivity, and the development of opportunities within the healthcare, traditional Chinese medicine, and wellness sectors. It also reflects a shared commitment to supporting organisations seeking to navigate new markets through trusted professional guidance and stronger regional networks.
To complement the signing, a two-day business engagement programme was held with Big Caring Group and Wezmart International Berhad. These engagements provided valuable perspectives on Malaysia’s evolving healthcare ecosystem, business environment, regulatory landscape, and broader opportunities across Southeast Asia.
